New Zealand songstress Victoria Vigenser has a penchant for songwriting, turning cliches into meaningful metaphors, while Australian Lindsay Martin brings an otherworldly ability to conjure a swathe of emotions out of one set of strings.
Add the artistry of internationally renowned cellists/multi-instrumentalists Rachel Johnston (NZ) and Trent Arkleysmith (AU) and We Mavericks present a formidable package.
Having amassed a multitude of accolades, including nominations as 'Best Folk Artist' in both the Aotearoa Music Awards and the Australian Folk Music Awards, it’s no wonder that We Mavericks are becoming international festival favourites.
